We will be training with Gordo at his gym, in Barra, just across the canal from the Beach. It is very common in Brazil to train with World-Class Black Belts of all shapes and sizes and in our travels, we have run into the likes of Murillo Bustamante, Mario Sperry, Royler Gracie and Ricardo De La Riva, Filipe Costa, just to name a few. Beaches - ipanema, copacabana, & barra do pepe

It's no secret. Rio de Janeiro is all about the beach. It is the people's center of entertainment and relaxation, and anyone who's ever been to Brazil will tell you there is nothing quite like it anywhere! Catch some rays, surf, jog, play soccer or simply crack open an ice cold beer while checking out some of the world's hottest bodies! The beaches we recommend are Ipanema, Barra do Pepe and Copacabana. And yes, it’s still cool in Rio to wear a speedo.

Rio de Janeiro is the world's most beautiful city. PERIOD. (Believe us, we have scoured the globe looking for the most exotic and beautiful places to travel and we have found it!) During our stay in Rio we will go on many different daily excursions to show you the beauty of Rio and it's surrounding areas. Can't miss tours are Corcovado (Christ Statue) and Pao de Acucar (Sugar Loaf Mountain) as well as a game at Maracana stadium. (time permitting)

Nightlife in Rio

If you want to party like a rock star, you've certainly come to the right place! Rio de Janeiro's nightlife is one of the best in the world! Whether you find yourself at a Street Party, a Beach Concert on Copacabana Beach (Rolling Stones and Lenny Kravitz Live Earth), looking for a relaxing bar to have a couple of capirinhas, or want to get decked out and party with Rio's high society, Rio has a scene for everyone!
The best part about Rio de Janeiro's nightlife is the people. Not only are they some of the sexiest on earth, Rio's locals love to party and are very friendly. See Photo Gallery
Unlike other huge party cities, Rio's nightlife is spread out all over the city. The hottest clubs are not in the tourist areas like Miami's South Beach or L.A.'s Sunset Strip. If you are not a local, it will be hard to find the hottest spot each night of your stay and if you do find it, it will be difficult to get past the huge lines and bouncers, who do not speak English.

Living Arrangements / Accomodations

You will stay in a luxury apartment overlooking the best (and safest) Beaches in Rio. Your Tour Guides will live with you and you will have two maids cooking and cleaning on weekdays for the duration of the trip. During downtime, you can wander across the street to the Beach or enjoy the shops and restaurants and amazing little patios in the immediate area. Traveling with Tour Guides (at least one who was born and raised in Rio) who know the lay of the land and speak Brazilian Portuguese makes for a very unique and special “Trip of a Lifetime”.

July 2009 - Ed, I wanted to thank you, Bruno and Rodrigo for the wonderful trip that you guys put together for the Masters and Seniors Tournament in Rio this year. I had a BLAST! I will definitely be returning next year. You guys made everything so convenient for the guys. The training was the best I have ever experienced by far, and I met so many people there, both old and new friends. Being in the warm up area stretching right next to Megaton and all the other famous BJJ fighters was something that I will never forget. Thanks for an experience of a lifetime! Sincerely, Kevin Bellard

July 2007 - Ten days in Rio is a lifetime of fun anywhere else. Because we speak Brazilian Portuguese and know where to go, we waste no time getting to the fun. Sometimes we do many spur of the moment things, like The Live Earth Concert (Lenny Kravitz) , which, had 400,000 people on Copacabana Beach.
